May Miles and Accomplishments

May’s miles were considerably less than April’s, but about three of those were a taper.  It’s still my second highest month this year and most likely since I started really training last June.

I ran 52.39 miles and biked 49.38 miles.

I’m still working on a summer training schedule but it is my intention to peak at 40-50 miles per week this summer and maintain 25-30 beginning Monday, June 3rd.  I’m also going to incorporate biking way more.

Accomplishments?  Buffalo Half Marathon!  1:42:49, baby!  But also the small things, like biking 12 miles at a time on a mountain bike.
